Design notes:

This scale decorated my sons's baby room when he was first born. I tracked his weight monthy for two years. My son is now comming up on his 26st birthday as you can see I've been modeling and using Lightwave 3D for years. The scale had three panels I removed, photographed and used as textures. The remainder of the body is procedural with rusty patchs pokeing through to match rusty panels. I've also created a Kitchen scale (an alternate version of the same model). The hardest part to model and texture is the basket. Modeling something weaved from wicker is almost impossible. I did my best and textured with a bamboo seamless texture, the actual wicker basket was painted white.
